Dr Akio is a practising psychiatrist with a medical degree(M.D) from Kuban State Medical University Krasnodar, Russia and a Postgraduate fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
He is a highly regarded mental health physician with over a decade of experience, who employs a holistic treatment strategy and specialises in liaison psychiatry with a strong therapeutic alliance to foster the recovery and well-being of patients.
He is passionate and active in mental health advocacy, addiction management and participates in local and global initiatives aimed at reducing stigma and improving access to mental health care.
